New York City's LGBT softball tournament.

Dear
Playing for Life Guest:
2010 is sure to be a year of change, as it marks the end of the
first decade of the millennium. Among those changes are ones that will take established traditions and rework them to reflect
modern times.
Take Playing for Life, for example. After a one-year hiatus,
New York's gay and lesbian benefit softball tournament returns on
Labor day weekend (September 3-6, 2010). While the event will
be substantially the same as it has been since it was resurrected in
2003, the seventh edition will feature several exciting new elements
in response to both the changing times and feedback from past
participants.
One such change will be in the tournament's focus.
Playing for
Life 2010 will remain true to its established mission of bringing
together gay and lesbian softball players from around the country
and their friends to play ball, enjoy New York City and support a
needy organization that services the LGBT community.
Other planned changes include:
All of these plans are intended to make the Playing for Life
experience more enjoyable and efficient for everyone.
We hope you are as excited about what should be a dynamic
Playing
for Life 2010 as we are!!! We look forward to seeing you again (or
- if you are a newcomer - for the first time) at the
end of the summer. Please feel free to check out the rest of the web
site while you're here, and visit often between now and the big
weekend.
See you in September!
Sincerely,
Mike D'Antonio & Anthony Giannoccora
